Rebecca and Jonathan’s wedding in Simsponville SC was in many ways a tribute to their families. Even their reception location, The Loom at Cotton Mill Place has a historic significance to Rebecca’s family roots. Strong family ties were evident and very much a part of their day. From Rebecca’s family ties to the cotton mill to Jonathan’s love and passion for horticulture, every detail was meaningful. There is always emotion when a father gives his daughter away but in this case Rebecca’s closeness to her father was something extra special. Filming the rehearsal dinner on Friday night gave me the opportunity to capture some of those emotions and include them in this highlight. All of this made a wedding weekend I will remember for a long time.
Rebecca and Jonathan, I was touched by your genuine love for each other and your strong family roots. It was truly an honor to get to know you and create this short film. I hope it will always remind you of a very special day in your lives.
Melissa and Justin were married on a very rainy Saturday in December in Lexington SC. The rain was part of their story and it in no way dampened the emotion of the event! It was a beautiful location and it was filled with the warmth of family and friends. Melissa and Justin, enjoy this highlight while we work on your longer full movie…and thank you so very much for trusting us with this very important event!
Last fall I filmed a wedding at the The Old Edwards Inn in Highlands NC and worked with an artist at the reception named Ronald Bayens. Ron is from Auburn Alabama and we all were in awe watching him paint the reception LIVE! It was incredible. I filmed a time lapse of him painting and we turned it into a piece he now uses to promote his business. I have to say it was an honor to do that for Ron!
Ron’s contact info is at the end of the video and a link to his site is below. You have to see this! Enjoy!
I posted Abbey and Andrew’s wedding highlight a while back and now I’m posting their full cinematic film. Abbey asked if this was online and I said…hold on…it will be!
So here you go Abbey! Enjoy!
