Lindsay wrote her wedding day note to Michael before they were even engaged. Watching Michael finally read those words is pretty special. And then there were more tears as Lindsay read Michael’s note. Those are the moments that I love most on the wedding day…truly authentic moments to remember and share with each other now and also later in life. But it wasn’t all tears! Wow, what a party at The Poinsett Club in Greenville. Thank you two for trusting me with your wedding film. What in incredible experience it was for me!
Creative expression is woven into my soul.
I suppose I owe it all to my parents. My mom was a piano teacher, and from her I gained a lifelong love of music. From my dad, a passionate photographer, I gained a love of craft, of color, and composition. From them both, I learned the importance of being aware of and sensitive to emotions, both my own, and those of others. Given all that, perhaps it was inevitable that I would follow my heart into the world of wedding cinematography.
What a privilege it is to experience a groom’s tear when he first sees his bride…to see and hear a bride overcome with emotion, as she reads words of love and devotion from her fiancé, only hours before they are to be wed. Years of experience, plus an innate sense of how to be in the right place at the right time, allow me to capture the special moments that make this day uniquely yours. Then, through careful editing and with attention paid to personalized detail, I weave those moments into a film that will make you laugh, smile and cry, now, and forever more.
But I can’t do this, until I know you. Because no two brides and grooms, or their families, are alike. That’s why I always begin by building relationships. Plus, I love meeting people! So, let’s chat, or meet over a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Let’s explore how we might transform your magical day into magnificent memories. This job is a cherished gift that comes with tremendous responsibility, and excitement. I’d love to share this gift, and excitement, with you!
