Julie and Gordon were married at The Lace House on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion in Columbia SC on a beautiful crisp fall day in November. It was such an honor to be part of their day. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends. The Lace House home and grounds were spectacular! It was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding. Gordon and Julie wanted to write and read notes to each other and there are some touching excerpts in this highlight. Julie and Gordon, thank you so much for allowing me and Chisty to film your beautiful day.
It was a joy to work with Kathy Moore Powell of Moore Photography.
When I first met Carrie she was so excited about the video Alex had made of his proposal to her. As we watched it I knew that her wedding movie was going to be very important to her! I get extra energy from knowing that and Christy and I had such a great time filming their wedding and experiencing everything with them. It was exciting and moving to be part of their day. It was both emotional and just plain fun! Carrie and Alex, thank you so very much! Enjoy the highlight and your movie won’t be far behind!
It was also a pleasure to meet and work for the first time with Rachel Hughes of Rachel Hughes Photography

Earlier I posted the wedding highlight for Leslie and Daniel. I’m excited now to share their full cinematic wedding film! They chose my short form cinematic edit and we also filmed their rehearsal dinner. This gave us a lot of wonderful words to use in their movie. But to make it even better, we filmed Leslie and Daniel before the wedding and created a movie that played at their rehearsal dinner. We were able to use some of those shots and words in their full film as well. You’ll notice all of that content sprinkled throughout this movie.
Jennifer and Joe were married at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton, South Carolina in October. They had fallen in love with Bluffton and decided to bring their families down from New York City. What an incredible weekend it was! The Inn at Palmetto Bluff in Bluffton SC might be the most beautiful resort I’ve ever seen. It was the perfect setting for their intimate wedding with their families and closest friends. For their highlight we chose emotional tender music that seemed to fit who they are as a couple. Jen and Joe, Christy and I couldn’t have felt more welcomed and we were truly honored to be part of your wedding. I hope this highlight will be very special to you.
I also can’t say enough how much we enjoyed meeting and working with Jen and Eric of Jenson Larson Photography. They are exceptional photographers who are also two very genuine people.
I can say the same thing about the band, Mellonbelly. They are incredibly talented and kept the party moving!

This is one special first dance!! How often does the Matron of Honor sing it? Katie Godowns doesn’t just sing it…she knocks it out of the park! I had the privilege to film Katie’s wedding a couple years ago and Leslie was Katie’s Maid of Honor. Leslie didn’t sing but she gave a really special toast. 🙂 Those two have a very special relationship and that’s what made me know I had to post this for everyone to share.
