Molly and Cameron met while students at Furman University so it was an emotional day when they were then married on that same campus! You’ve got to hear Cameron reading Molly’s note. She kept a journal of their dating days and shares it with him on their wedding day. Wow! I had tears when I first heard it and it’s the same every time I watch their highlight! Their reception was at The Avenue, a new rooftop venue in Greenville SC. And it was a blast to work again with the very talented Ryan and Alyssa photography team and great Erica Berg Collective band!
Molly and Cameron, thank you! I hope you enjoy your wedding films for many years to com.
There is something I really love about a December wedding around the Christmas season! And this one was super special! Ashlyn and Matt were married in downtown Greenville at Trinity Lutheral Church and had a great party at the newly renovated Greenville Country Club. Check out the amazing book that Matt gave Ashlyn on her wedding day – and especially Ashlyn’s reaction to it. It was a very special moment that I’m glad we were able to capture! It was also my first chance to work with Josh Wilson Photography and the Erica Berg Collective…heck of a great team from right here in Greenville!
What a really special weekend this was! The rehearsal dinner was in downtown Greenville on the Reedy River at Larkins on Friday night and that got things started. The girls got ready early Saturday at the Poinsett Club and then the ceremony followed at the newly renovated Christ Church Episcopal. Actually this was the first wedding in the new chapel following a year of renovation. And then what a party later Saturday night at the Poinsett Club! The Atlanta Showstoppers were incredible! Elizabeth and Bedford, thank you so much for allowing me to film your wedding. I hope this film is special to you for many years to come!
As our Saturday wedding in January in Greenville SC approached…so did the big winter storm! We were a bit nervous about how it would turn out. Genya from Vue Photography was coming up from Atlanta along with the incredible Party on the Moon band. Meg and Taylor of Oliver Hooper Events
said we were all a go on Friday and sure enough it turned into the winter wonderland wedding that Jill and Charlie were dreaming of!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I tend to cry at emotional or even somewhat emotional moments. So while editing this particular film, let’s admit that there was a bit of that going on. It’s pretty hard to watch Katie and Ben on their wedding day at the Cliffs at Glassy and not get caught up in their incredible love and excitement. Of course it wasn’t just Katie and Ben…both families and pretty much everyone there was so happy for them. You could feel it all day!
Katie and Ben, thank you. It was an honor to create your wedding film and I will always remember you two and that incredible day on Glassy Mountain!
